The Warren Commission
The Warren Commission’s report on the assassination of President Kennedy, indexed and searchable to the page.
Who released this.
A presidential commission, published in 1964.
What this collection cannot tell you.
This is the Warren Commission and nothing else. The House Select Committee on Assassinations reached a different conclusion in 1979 and is not in this collection. So "the report does not say that" is a statement about 1964 — not about the government’s final position on the question.
We say this on every collection because an absence in a curated release is evidence about the curation, not about the world. Why that distinction runs through the whole product.
